Research Scientist

As a Research Scientist in the Manufacturing Science and Technology Group, you will be responsible for performing process development studies, executing batch and process qualification activities, and preparing technical documentation to support development and validation programs at Kaztronix. This role provides technical support to the Manufacturing and Quality departments.
Responsibilities- Design and execute DOE's, process optimization studies, and process qualification batches, and compile and analyze process data using statistical tools.
- Develop documentation packages, including conceptual studies, process studies, characterization, process qualification, and cleaning validation.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing technology and equipment used in solid oral manufacturing.
- Prepare Master batch records, Exhibit Batch protocols, pre-validation, and process validation documentation and reports.
- Provide troubleshooting support to manufacturing operations and complete assigned projects with minimal supervision.
- Champion compliance investigations, commitments, and change controls.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address specific problems, facilitate discussion and research, and enhance interdepartmental relationships.
- Minimum B.S. in a relevant science field, such as Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines. M.S. preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Projects, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
- A self-starter with a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
