Key Responsibilities:
1. Promote a safety-first culture and enhance awareness by committing to an injury-free workplace through personal actions and mentoring.
2. Coordinate technology-related design and construction activities that meet quality, financial, and technical standards.
3. Review and participate in the preparation of outgoing RFPs to subcontractors and suppliers during the pre-construction phase.
4. Validate subcontracting and supply scopes in collaboration with the AMSYS Pre-Con Development Team prior to final procurement, including scope leveling and contract negotiations.
5. Manage change order assessments and bid pricing in conjunction with the project engineer and subcontractor team.
6. Oversee subcontractor and supplier communications, scheduling, and reporting.
7. Collaborate with BTD on all scopes of work and scheduling, including site visits and meetings.
8. Provide technical guidance related to design assistance, installation, and network integration of systems.
9. Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and BTD for coordination and problem resolution.
10. Develop technology-specific scopes of work and responsibility matrices tailored to individual projects.
Budget Management:
1. Review quantity takeoffs and gather vendor and trade partner pricing to create accurate budgets or hard bid proposals, ensuring compliance with contract scope requirements.
2. Manage overall project budgets, costs, and projections in collaboration with project managers.
3. Assist in the development and enforcement of safety standards in accordance with current OSHA regulations.
Team Leadership:
1. Lead, coach, and motivate team members proactively, in line with AMSYS' FIT policy.
2. Support project delivery to meet financial, quality, and performance objectives.
3. Engage in company-wide communication initiatives to enhance the marketing and delivery of technology-related services.
Project Scheduling:
1. Collaborate with the onsite general contractor to develop a comprehensive project master schedule, ensuring alignment with project objectives (scope, schedule, cost, quality).
2. Track and report progress on project milestones with team members and stakeholders.
3. Ensure proper management and archiving of all project documentation upon completion.
Technology Consulting:
1. Manage the technology consulting process between AMSYS and client/owner's consultants and contractors.
2. Identify and explore new technologies that enhance AMSYS's Smart Building offerings.
3. Collaborate with the Sales Team to understand and apply emerging technologies to current customer needs.
Professional Development:
1. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations.
2. Engage with local civic organizations to foster community involvement and enhance union relations.
3. Assist in staff development by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new employees.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office.
