About the Job

ATC Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide direct care services to individuals who are developmentally and/or physically challenged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement goals and procedural objectives
  • Provide a safe, healthy, clean environment and supervision to the individuals
  • Function as an advocate for the individuals
  • Perform dietary duties, i.e. food preparation and clean up
  • Perform laundry duties, i.e. personal clothing and linens
  • Perform housekeeping/cleaning duties
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least six months experience as a direct support staff in a group home setting
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (for some locations and programs)
  • Abuse clearances (may include child abuse clearances)
  • Criminal History Clearance
  • FBI Fingerprints
  • TB Screening and baseline testing (PPD or blood test), some programs
  • Certification of Completion: Direct Care Staff Training Course and Competency for some programs
