Key Responsibilities:
- The Retail Operations Leader establishes the store's culture, ensuring that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to excel daily while implementing retail best practices and organizational protocols.
- This role is crucial in maintaining exceptional customer service both internally and externally, overseeing in-store processing and inventory management, and optimizing the handling of donated goods for store use and inventory destined for the warehouse.
- The Retail Operations Leader is responsible for scheduling staff to guarantee adequate coverage and meet production demands during all operational hours, while also ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cash management at the register.
- Administrative tasks include generating store reports, managing bank deposits, conducting performance evaluations, and maintaining other essential documentation for effective store management.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is required, or you must be actively pursuing one.
- A minimum of five years of full-time experience in a related field is necessary, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
The Retail Operations Leader position offers a starting salary of $42,195 annually, with eligibility for performance-based incentive pay. Goodwill fosters a culture of reliability, and the schedule will include a rotation of days, evenings, and weekends. To provide effective leadership, this role requires availability for work every other weekend, at least one evening shift, and one mid-shift per week. Weekend availability is essential.
