Job Summary
The O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a full-time, renewable, non-tenure track academic year appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the area of lake management.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure service grants and contracts in support of lake monitoring programs and other aquatic monitoring efforts at the state and local levels.
- Train students and engage in outreach activities as part of these efforts.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate students in environmental science and related fields.
- Develop and deliver innovative teaching techniques and courses.
- Contribute to the school's programs, curricular offerings, and service portfolio in ways that enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
- Master's degree in environmental science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience directing lake monitoring programs and teaching environmental science at the college level.
- Commitment to high-quality student training and mentoring.
