About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Solutions Architect, Retail. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will work closely with our Account Executive to define and direct the technical strategy for our largest and most important accounts in the Retail and CPG space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to help clients evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their data-driven business transformation journey
  • Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide guidance on the relevance and application of ML & AI within their use cases
  • Lead the implementation of technical solutions in the account, ensuring close alignment with the client's strategy
  • Build a movement of technical champions within the account, aligning technical strategies around Databricks solutions
  • Provide structured mentorship for other team members
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with large enterprises (> $1m ARR) in the Retail and CPG space
  • 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activity
  • Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud technologies
  • Ability to drive data-driven business transformation and change with data
  • 3+ years of experience with design and implementation experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP or full lifecycle data science solutions
  • Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java
  • Nice to have: Databricks Certification

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $139,900-$247,300 USD, and the total compensation package may include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
