About the Role

The Senior Mental Health Program Director will be responsible for managing and delivering safe and effective patient/client care. This includes overseeing the day-to-day functions of the program, coordinating services, and managing team members. The successful candidate will also be responsible for client/patient outcomes, workload management, team building, and resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain primary accountability for the management and delivery of safe and effective patient/client care
  • Oversee the day-to-day functions of the program, including coordination of services
  • Manage team members, client/patient outcomes, and workload
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve program sustainability and achieve financial goals
  • Work closely with management to ensure quality and compliance of clinical documentation

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Social Work, psychology or related field required
  • Maine State licensure to practice at the independent level of an LCSW, LCPC, CARN, RNCS or Ph.D. in mental health and substance abuse preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in community settings and clinical supervisory and management experience preferred

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
