- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including consultations, transfers, and discharges.">

- Develop and lead educational programs for patients, families, and staff on orthopedic topics, promoting evidence-based practices and best care methods.">
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and implementing process changes to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.">
Requirements:

- Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.">
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee.">
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.">
- BCLS certification is required for all nursing positions.">
- For specific specialties, additional certifications or training may be necessary (e.g., ACLS, PALS).">
- 1-2 years of experience in orthopedic nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.">
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.">
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems.">
- Able to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.">
