About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to lead our ABA teams at our centers in Kansas. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the program of 4-6 children and their respective teams of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Your primary responsibility will be to deliver ABA intervention to children up until the age of kindergarten.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize assessments, such as VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS-R, ESDM Curriculum Checklist, and other appropriate measures to develop comprehensive individual behavior treatment plans.
  • Maintain an ethical caseload of clients based on delivered hours per week by RBT staff.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, monitoring and modifying them as necessary.
  • Conduct parent training using an evidence-based curriculum.
  • Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians and Interns.
  • Participate in team meetings and leadership meetings.
  • Collaborate with community providers, such as therapists and teachers.
  • Report to the Chief Clinical Officer.
  • Maintain certification and licensure.
  • Remain in compliance with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working with children with autism as young as 2 years old is required.
  • Applicant must be physically able to lift children, run with children, and walk up and down a flight of stairs multiple times a day while also carrying a child.
  • Applicant must be a licensed Behavior Analyst in the states of Kansas and Missouri or have the ability to obtain the license within 1 month of hire date.
