Job Summary

Virginia Peninsula Community College is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to teach noncredit Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) classes in the College's Workforce Development Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach CNA classes to students with varying levels of experience and skill
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet industry credential attainment and skill enhancement goals
  • Assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in nursing education
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia
  • Significant work experience in the field of nursing, preferably in education or training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use a variety of software, including word processing, presentation, and communication packages
