Produce Department Manager

At Sprouts Farmers Market, we're seeking a highly skilled Produce Manager to lead our produce department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving sales and operations in our produce department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the sales and operation of the produce department, including quality control, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, feedback, and one-on-one development discussions to ensure team members meet performance expectations.
- Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members, ensuring they provide the finest quality of product and highest level of service to customers.
- Collaborate with business and HR partners to manage performance, including coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, suspension, or termination when necessary.
- Perform general housekeeping in the department, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- At least 18 years of age and 1-3 years of experience working in a grocery retail setting with management experience in produce.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be available to work up to 5 miles in an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit.
- Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
