Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced medical care using medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and suction devices.
• Serve as a team leader, taking responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while maintaining a safe driving record.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and foster strong relationships.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• California Driver's License
• Ambulance Driver's License from DMV
• Medical Examiner's Card from DMV
• State of California Paramedic License
• CPR Card (American Heart Association)
• ACLS Card (American Heart Association)
• IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, and IS-800B certifications
• Some past work experience in healthcare desired
