Job Summary:
As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer at Skypoint, you'll design and implement scalable solutions tailored to client needs, leveraging your expertise in Skypoint AI Platform, Databricks, Python, SQL, Microsoft Fabric Power BI, and RESTful APIs.
You'll manage data integration, optimize AI applications, and translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of data modeling, Large Language Models (LLMs), and BI visualization, and the ability to work closely with clients to achieve their business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a deep understanding of client industries to develop and implement effective, scalable solutions.
- Ensure precise alignment of client requirements with Skypoint AI Platform architectural standards to meet business objectives.
- Design sophisticated structured data schemas and unstructured data models tailored to client-specific scenarios, optimizing functionality and efficiency.
- Master the essential elements of the Skypoint AI platform and related tools to maximize the impact of solutions provided.
Data Integration and Management:
- Utilize Skypoint AIP Studio's tools for seamless data integration.
- Implement data transformations with DBT, vectorize unstructured data, converting business needs into actionable technical specifications.
- Collaborate with client-side technical leaders to formulate and execute integration strategies.
AI and Analytics:
- Oversee data preparation, annotation, labeling, tagging, and optimization for AI applications using Python, Databricks, and Skypoint AIP.
- Engage in advanced prompt engineering to improve AI capabilities.
- Translate complex business needs into detailed analytics and reporting frameworks.
Project Management:
- Administer project timelines and deliverables through Kanban boards, Azure DevOps to ensure timely and successful completions. Manage projects autonomously, escalating to a dedicated PM for more intricate initiatives as needed.
Required Skills:
Expertise in data modeling, with a robust understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases; proficient in Python for AI-related tasks.
Analytical Abilities:
Strong background in using DBT for data transformations, Databricks Unity Catalog, and comprehensive knowledge of data connectors.Software Mastery:
In-depth familiarity with Databricks functionalities and architecture essential for superior solution design.Project Oversight:
Proven project management experience, adept in using Kanban for monitoring progress.Communication Excellence:
Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients.- Familiar with BI visualization and automation concepts.
- Strong skills in solution architecture, with expertise in Python, SQL, Databricks, and RESTful APIs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years industry experience (production).
- Extensive experience with Line of Business applications, low-code platforms, and data integration.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficiency with AI and Data Analytics platforms.
- Certifications in Project Management or Agile methodologies (Azure DevOps).
- Experience in analytics or process management across in Healthcare, Public Sector, or Financial Services.
