We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Tyson Foods Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team, including hiring, training, and developing team members.
- Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer orders, ensuring accurate shipments and record-keeping.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes, ensuring products meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety, ensuring all workstations and equipment meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Collaborate with other supervisors to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for education beyond high school.
- Experience: 1+ years of management/supervision experience or minimum six months working as a Tyson Foods Line Lead or similar role in meat processing.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in software applications relevant to the role.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Special Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel: Some travel may be required to other facilities or corporate locations.
- Financial Analysis: Understanding of financial indicators and analysis, with experience in budget development and management.
