The Nursing Director will be responsible for leading and managing the health and wellness of our residents, as well as coordinating care and services to ensure the highest level of quality and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership for resident care in the community, managing, directing, and monitoring the nursing team to promote the health and wellness of the resident population.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other clinical providers to coordinate care and services for residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sunrise's policies and procedures.
- Recruit, hire, and train clinical team members, and provide ongoing coaching and performance management.
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state/provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience with at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
