About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. as a Pharmaceutical Sales Customer Engagement Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through proactive outreach, engaging healthcare providers, and providing expert clinical knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience and reside within commuting distance of the primary city in the sales territory. They should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work in an ambiguous environment, and demonstrate a proven track record in coaching, training, and mentoring peers.

A competitive salary range of $102,101.00 - $145,970.00, plus incentive opportunities, awaits the successful candidate. Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, as well as tuition reimbursement and a 401(k) match, are also part of the package.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct proactive outreach to HCPs on topics such as product access, on-label information, established guidance on patient care, and customer engagement.
  • Personally engage customers through various virtual or digital tools and direct them to other colleagues as needed.
  • Facilitate speaker programs, organize local provider groups, and elevate opportunities and feedback to ecosystem leads.
  • Maintain an ongoing focus on customer needs and preferences, ensuring high standards of performance and leading change initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
  • Reside within commutable distance of the primary city in the sales territory.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record in coaching, training, and mentoring peers.
