This role will encompass traditional customer service responsibilities such as responding to inquiries and processing orders, but will primarily focus on more intricate projects, including the design of custom tackle storage solutions, dashboard panels, and more.

The ideal candidate will undergo comprehensive product training, possess a fundamental understanding of engineering principles, and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills. This position is dynamic and offers unique challenges each day, requiring creative problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer needs and deliver assistance and insights regarding product specifications.
  • Translate customer requirements, identify engineering obstacles, and serve as a bridge between the customer and the engineering team.
  • Proactively oversee customer projects to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Balance company policies with customer interests in decision-making processes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A genuine interest in boating and related accessories (prior boating experience is advantageous).
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • A positive, approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and achieving sales goals.

Additional Information:

  • Compensation will be based on your background and relevant experience.
  • This position typically operates Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime.
  • Evening and weekend work is generally not required.
  • Occasional travel to industry events may be necessary.
