We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Builders FirstSource. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions, and maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and cash wrap area.
- Assist with pricing and stocking inventory, as well as maintaining store displays and visual merchandising.
- Participate in annual physical inventory activities and assist with other tasks as needed.
We are looking for a high school diploma or equivalent, and six months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
