Job Overview

Secur-Serv, a leading managed services provider, is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware and equipment at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair hardware issues
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Assist other territories and technicians as needed, including travel to other metropolitan areas
  • Take ownership of meeting customer business needs and provide updates on service status
  • Coordinate activities with technical support and sales teams as required

Requirements

  • Two or more years of related experience and/or training
  • Able to attend training sessions to stay up-to-date with new technology and hardware developments
  • Valid and current state driver's license
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and equipment, with ability to diagnose and repair issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
