Job Title: Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Springfield Memorial Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist will assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
