We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures within the Operating Room and Radiology.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and other medical staff during procedures
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Military MOS qualification as a Surgical Scrub Tech may be substituted for CST certification
- Must maintain certification throughout duration of employment
- Current BLS required
- Minimum of one year recent acute perioperative experience
