About the Role

Covenant Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Technician to join our team at Covenant Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed nurses in providing basic patient care, including vital signs, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Support patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Contribute to a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a tidy workspace.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
Requirements
  • A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment or
  • A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation. After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
