Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team at Covenant Medical Center. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of medication dispensing and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fills and dispenses unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt and accurate manner.
  • Triage patient orders and maintain the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medication management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize medication use and patient safety.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee or Registered Pharmacy Technician License required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy practice experience in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification, or 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience if not PTCB certified.
