Job Title: Medical Assistant

Apex Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain vital signs, and update patient medication lists.
  • Transcribe patient information, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist physicians with biopsies, surgical procedures, and patient education.
  • Perform front-desk tasks, answer phone calls, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Travel to other office locations as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic computer software programs and medical terminology.
  • Preferred: BA/BS in a relevant field, 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, and certification as a Certified (Registered) Medical Assistant.
