Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing x-ray exams for IP, ER, and OR service lines, preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and positioning patients and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform x-ray exams for IP, ER, and OR service lines
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
  • Position patients and equipment, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitor video displays to adjust density or contrast
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
  • Produce diagnostic images, report important information to physicians, and update patient records
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of current Radiology Technologist experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
  • Active unencumbered Radiology Tech Michigan state license
  • One year of Epic experience
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
Preferred Qualifications
  • BLS and ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • The ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
