Position Responsibilities
Key responsibilities with both existing and new clients may include:
- Gathering and analyzing information to thoroughly understand clients' needs, priorities, and concerns, thereby building trust and creating a personalized strategy to achieve their goals.
- Regularly meeting with clients to monitor progress towards their goals, identify additional assets, proactively address emerging concerns, and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Collaborating with other professionals in clients' networks, such as attorneys and accountants, to gain a comprehensive understanding of their goals and circumstances.
- Researching portfolio performance, costs, asset allocation, and adjustments to investment strategies, and making informed recommendations to clients.
- Working closely with the Wealth Advisor and branch team to ensure alignment and develop, monitor, and refine the branch business plan to achieve desired outcomes.
- Building relationships with local organizations and businesses to maintain a strong community presence and generate referrals.
- Coordinating with the Wealth Advisor to assist in acquiring new clients through various sourcing strategies.
- Continuously pursuing personal and professional development.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Series 7 and Series 66 licenses are required; if not currently registered, these can be obtained during the assigned study period at Edward Jones.
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the securities industry is preferred.
FINRA licenses must be obtained within three months. State insurance licenses are also required.
As an associate, you will be expected to complete all ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, as well as any required training to maintain your licenses in good standing.
