Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team at Stoughton Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in assigned units, maintaining accountability for your own practice and delegating/providing direction to other nursing personnel as needed.
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, and evaluate patient care, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of services.
  • Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices, staying up-to-date with current nursing standards and best practices.
  • Interact with and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Integrate research findings into clinical practice, ensuring evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS.
  • Preferred certifications: ENPC and TNCC.
  • Non-violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training.
  • Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
