Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Fire Protection Design Specialist to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in designing automatic sprinkler systems using HydraCAD and AutoSprink. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design automatic sprinkler systems using HydraCAD and AutoSprink
  • Conduct on-site field surveys and generate hydraulic calculations
  • Submit drawings to obtain required building permits
  • Coordinate with Sales Project Managers to plan, organize, and execute projects
  • Prepare stock lists, project close-out documents, and operation and maintenance documents

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a design or drafting-related program
  • 2+ years of experience in fire protection design or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and mathematically inclined
  • Ability to learn industry-specific software and codes
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
