About Us: CetraRuddy is a leading architecture, planning, and interior design firm driven by design excellence and a passion for creating innovative solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Architect II to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

Job Summary:

  • Participate in all project phases, with a primary focus on design development and construction documents.
  • Provide design support for projects as necessary, including drafting and creation of initial renderings, sketching & Revit Drawings, and 3D model making.
  • Prepare presentation materials, including physical and digital model making.
  • Partner with the Project Architect to produce accurate technical and contract documentation for the construction of the project.
  • Collaborate with the design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
  • Mentor and provide direction to less experienced design team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design concepts and solutions for architectural projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure design solutions meet client needs and project objectives.
  • Prepare and present design concepts and solutions to clients and project teams.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including design development and construction documents.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to project discussions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Professional Architecture Degree (Masters preferred but not necessarily a requirement).
  • 6+ years of related experience.
  • Licensure a plus, but not necessarily a requirement.
  • Demonstrated strength of technical knowledge & design sensibility.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of 3D modeling & BIM documentation tools, including Revit and the Adobe Suite.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in the culture of the studio.

  • A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $105,000, plus bonuses and benefits.
