We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Tasting Room Associate to join our team at Sterling Vineyards. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting our premium wines to visitors from around the world.
Key Responsibilities:- Wine Tastings and Tours: Set up and host wine tastings and tours for guests, providing in-depth knowledge of our wines and vineyard operations.
- Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service to site visitors, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience.
- Events and Activities: Assist in events, private dinners, and various site activities, showcasing our wines and hospitality.
- Operations and Sales: Assist with restocking, inventory, wine packing, and floor upkeep, as well as register operations, retail sales, and wine club promotions.
- Site Policies and Procedures: Follow site policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Additional Duties: Complete projects and other duties as directed by the Retail Sales Manager.
- Age Requirement: You must be 21 years of age or older.
- Experience: Some experience in retail sales or a similar hospitality setting is required.
- Customer Service Skills: Exemplary customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
- Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills are necessary to effectively communicate knowledge of wines and wine production.
- Teamwork and Interactions: You must be dynamic, with a positive attitude, and excel at teamwork and interactions.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry, Napa and Bay Area restaurants is highly desirable.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (a case of wine).

Pay Transparency Disclosure:The base pay range offered for this position is $21 to $26 plus monthly bonus. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data.
