Full-time 40 hours weekly (8 hour shifts) Day/Evening
Weekend and Holidays per the guidelines of the department.
Location: Wilmington
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse II to join our Wilmington Operating Room team at Christiana Hospital & Wilmington Hospital. As a Registered Nurse II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room operations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and operating room efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements:
- BSN preferred.
- Commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.
- Current RN licensure required.
- At least 2 years of Operating Room Experience is required.
- Knowledge of multiple specialties preferred.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology and robotics specialties preferred.
- CNOR certification a plus.
