About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Novant Health. As an OR Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care, including preparation, anesthesia, and recovery.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding and expectations.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact license.
- At least one year of experience in acute care, preferably in the Operating Room.
