Thank you for considering Progyny. As the Clinical Program Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of product managers in developing and implementing strategies for recently launched and new products to support company growth and scalability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Clinical, Member and Provider Services, Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and peers and leaders within the product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the strategy, roadmap, and business requirements for recently launched and new products.
  • Manage and coach a team of Product Managers to ensure successful product launches and growth.
  • Monitor products in market, manage key performance indicators, and outcomes to inform future product development.
  • Partner with Product Strategy to define new products and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Ensure clinical aspects of products align with regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Define and prioritize investment based on business need and customer impact.
  • Build a deep understanding of our members, clients, and partners to propose solutions that meet their needs and company objectives.
  • Secure and manage external resourcing for clinical specialties/subspecialties expertise for program development.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to enable sales and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to effectively operationalize all aspects of new product lines.

About You:

  • 8+ years of experience in clinical product/program management in healthcare, preferably in family building and women's health.
  • Minimum 4 years of people management through coaching and mentorship.
  • Proven contribution to product success through 2+ successful clinical programs launched to market that include services, technology, and provider partners.
  • Experience building and managing solutions that lead to proven patient outcomes.
  • Experience integrating regulatory guidelines into creation of hospital/clinic SOPs.
  • Experience managing by influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and inquisitive, natural problem solver.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with engineering to design operational and technical processes to meet required investment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage large projects cross-functionally.
  • Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance stakeholder needs with business priorities, and drive trade-offs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with time-management skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to multitask.
  • Must be driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others.
  • Experience with product, design, and project management tools such as ProductBoard, Jira, Figma, and Microsoft products.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary range for NYC-based applicants is: $150,000 - $165,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
