Job Overview

As a Backend Software Engineer specializing in Golang, you will be instrumental in crafting robust and scalable backend solutions. Your proficiency in the Golang programming language will be vital in the architecture and execution of high-performance applications that drive our innovative financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Code Development and Quality Assurance: Engage in the daily writing, reviewing, and testing of code. Influence technical design choices to ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-tested code.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Partner with leaders across Engineering, Product, and Design teams to navigate the product development lifecycle effectively.
  • Technical Leadership: Articulate technical requirements for product and design in a manner that is accessible to all engineering team members.
  • Mentorship: Set a positive example to cultivate a culture of accountability and ownership. Provide guidance to junior engineers to enhance their skills across various aspects of software development.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development and testing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in backend engineering.
  • Proficient in a Backend Language (e.g., Golang, Java, or C++) with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Experience leading intricate projects from conception to execution for over 2 years.
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed short-term and long-term technical decisions.
  • Familiarity with deploying user-facing applications and working with CI/CD methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Experience with contemporary engineering methodologies such as continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, test-driven development (TDD), and domain-driven design (DDD).
  • Proven track record in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services, with a solid understanding of service-oriented architecture.
  • A passion for creating an inclusive financial ecosystem that connects people globally.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with security auditing and vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GC2, or Terraform.
  • Background in Blockchain, Web3, or Fintech sectors.
  • Experience with distributed systems and startup environments.
  • Experience serving as a technical representative.
  • Experience in a rapidly growing company environment.
  • Experience in developing financial, high-reliability, or security-focused systems.
