Job Summary:

Airgas, Inc. is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering gas cylinders and supplies to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our products and equipment, including gas cylinders and supplies.
  • Logistics and Delivery: Load and unload service trucks daily with gas cylinders and supplies for scheduled route stops as directed by the dispatcher.
  • Supply Chain Management: Return empty cylinders to the plant for refilling and maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the dispatch team to plan and execute delivery routes, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • CDL License: Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Logistics Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and dispatch teams.
