Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of heavy civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Develop and track project budgets
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to procure project materials
  • Conduct final walk-throughs, create punchlists, and obtain final acceptance
  • Track and report project progress through daily logs
  • Maintain high levels of customer service with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Utilize project management software, including Excel and B2W
  • Facilitate and process change orders
  • Implement and manage safety programs, including conducting "Toolbox Talks" with field teams
  • Provide support to field teams and participate in weekly team meetings
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Construction or Civil Engineering degree preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional work outside in hot and dusty environments. The physical demands of this job include frequent sitting, standing, and walking, as well as occasional lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
