We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and modesty at all times.
- Operate Computerized Axial Tomography Scan equipment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation, assisting physicians in the screening and diagnosis of patient illness and injury.
- Perform related tasks, such as assisting patients in positioning for correct anatomical exposure, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and performing routine clerical duties.
- Work collaboratively with other technologists and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
- RTR licensure in Commonwealth Massachusetts is required.
- CT modality requires a Sub-specialty (CT) certification within 1 year of employment.
- BLS certification is required.
- Maintaining all area-specific CEUs for ARRT, DPH according to regulation is required.
