This position involves engaging in the implementation of Oracle Cloud EPM solutions through a comprehensive process that includes requirements gathering, design, development, testing, training, deployment, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

The Oracle Cloud Solutions Engineer will be tasked with:

  • Contributing to the rollout of Oracle EPM solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Assisting in the formulation of capacity plans and participating in load testing activities.
  • Developing and maintaining both functional and technical system documentation.
  • Conducting regression testing for Oracle software updates and patches.
  • Managing master data maintenance for Oracle EPM systems.
  • Possessing a foundational understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Helping to define critical paths, milestones, delivery timelines, and reviewing client deliverables to ensure they align with acceptance criteria.
  • Documenting technical proposals and designs for peer evaluation; maintaining technical documentation for both legacy and future solutions.
  • Collaborating with IT Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to ensure that technical solutions comply with security and architectural standards.
  • Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing and optimizing EPBCS/PBCS applications.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems.
  • Proficient technical knowledge in scripting for writing business rules, Data Management, and EPM Automation.
  • Experience in constructing metadata, designing web forms, data reconciliation, and building dashboards.
  • A solid understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in gathering business and functional requirements to guide solution delivery in alignment with business objectives.
  • Project experience with EPM Suite of Products 11.x.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS market offerings.
  • Knowledge of FP&A processes, including bottom-up planning, scenario modeling, allocations, account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and top-side adjustments.
  • Experience in interpreting business requirements and translating them into solution designs.
  • Experience with data integration across various systems/sources (On-premise FDMEE and cloud Data Exchange).
  • Proficiency in creating EPM automate and REST API scripts.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining business rules and Groovy scripts.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining Management Reporting (MR) and Narrative reporting.
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of HFM and FCCS.
