Sterling Design Support Services (SDS2), a unit of iQuasar LLC, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support the design and manufacture of cable products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cable products and assemblies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production processes
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct electrical failure analysis and design for manufacturability (DFM) studies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cable manufacturing and/or cable assembly environment
  • Strong knowledge of cable electrical characterization and test procedures
  • Experience with design software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and industry standards such as UL, CSA, and Mil-std's
  • Experience with high voltage cable and cable test equipment
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office and ability to read and interpret customer drawings or specifications
