As the Assistant Manager, you will oversee both retail and dining aspects, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience.

REPRESENTING THE BRAND WITH PRIDE

Be a passionate ambassador for the Marlin Bar brand, showcasing seasonal trends and key products in both retail and dining.

Identify and implement strategies to enhance productivity and cross-selling opportunities.


Assist in managing the merchandising process alongside the floor merchandiser and food & beverage teams.

Understand the various roles within the team and be ready to assist wherever necessary.


Monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and participate in financial planning as needed.

Achieve sales objectives through strategic planning, execution, and analysis.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures consistently.

Manage daily payroll hours in line with budgeted percentages.


Proactively oversee all aspects of loss prevention to safeguard company assets, including cash and merchandise.

Implement and manage safety programs for both employees and guests.


Perform additional duties as required to support the business effectively.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER

A degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

Must be at least 18 years old.

4+ years of experience in retail or dining environments.

Generally, 2+ years of management or supervisory experience.

Familiarity with hospitality and guest service principles.

Experience with visual merchandising concepts in both retail and dining.

Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.

Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling required.

Occasional climbing of ladders.

Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

Willingness to travel for training and support at other locations.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
