Job Overview

Position: CDL Class A Semi-Truck Driver - Aggregate

As a vital member of our logistics team, the Semi-Truck Driver is responsible for the transportation of loose materials including sand, gravel, and other aggregates. This role demands a thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the vehicle and associated equipment, ensuring all safety and operational standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a tractor-trailer to efficiently transport materials, utilizing the dumping mechanism as required.

• Demonstrate proficiency in maneuvering the truck in various terrains and weather conditions, ensuring safe positioning at job sites.

• Maintain a consistent work schedule, typically involving 10-hour shifts, with potential for extended hours during peak operational periods.

• Adhere to safety protocols by wearing necessary protective gear including a reflective vest, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel-toe boots while on-site.

• Conduct daily inspections of the tractor-trailer, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly.

• Operate the vehicle in a manner that prioritizes safety and efficiency, while also performing light maintenance and greasing as needed.

Compensation:
The compensation for the CDL Class A Semi-Truck Driver position is based on individual qualifications and experience.
