About the Role

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Program Manager to join our team at AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of our cutting-edge solutions, used by thousands of enterprises worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the implementation of new procedures and updates to existing procedures within the team.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to mandatory procedures across teams.
  • Optimize processes to meet the needs of the product team while complying with mandatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with other product teams to identify and manage inter-dependencies.
  • Manage risks and issues, taking proactive measures to facilitate resolution.
  • Develop and maintain a plan for release, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
  • Ensure milestones and plans are met and clearly communicated.
  • Facilitate higher-level planning and backlog refinement on a regular cadence.
  • Coordinate meetings between team leads to discuss impediments, risks, and dependencies.
  • Schedule and conduct retrospectives after key activities are completed.
  • Prepare and present information in review meetings and quarterly product review meetings.
  • Ensure delivery of internal release announcements.
  • Assist in maintaining software development processes with continuous improvement in mind.
  • Act as an Agile Coach for the product team.
Qualifications
  • Possess a BS/MS/Ph.D. degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial software product development, with at least 3 years in a team leadership/managerial role.
  • Experience with Agile/Lean software development and software lifecycle processes.
  • Experience organizing multiple teams delivering on software/product development initiatives.
  • A track record of managing complex development programs to deliver technical solutions and achieve business results.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience collaborating with teams and stakeholders across multiple geographies.
  • Experience working in domain-related to Process Simulators or thermodynamic algorithms.
  • Experience acting as an Agile Coach.
