About This Role
At CenterWell Home Health, we are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in evaluating, directing, and providing speech and language pathology services to patients in their homes or facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing disorders to develop effective treatment plans
- Direct and provide speech and language therapy services to patients, including individual and group sessions
- Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments, such as audio logic screening
- Provide instruction and training to patients and their families on the use of alternative communication systems
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective discharge planning
Requirements
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology
- Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist/speech-language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license to practice
- Current CPR certification
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this role.
