Job Opportunity

River Parishes Community College is seeking a skilled Welding Technology Instructor to join our team.

Job Summary

This is a 9-month, full-time position responsible for teaching Welding courses, developing curriculum, and collaborating with industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Welding courses to students at various skill levels
  • Develop and revise curriculum to meet industry standards
  • Collaborate with industry partners to improve the Welding program
  • Advise students on academic and career goals
  • Maintain a safe and orderly lab environment

Requirements

  • Three (3) years welding and cutting experience
  • Proficient in multiple welding processes
  • Certified Welder, Certified Welding Educator, Certified Welding Inspector, or OSHA Authorized Instructor preferred
  • Satisfactory background check
