Job OverviewNew Way Trucks is a family-owned company with a strong commitment to innovation and excellence in heavy manufacturing. We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Operator to join our 2nd shift team and contribute to the production of high-quality steel parts for refuse equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate fabrication machinery and associated tooling to optimize production and meet quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy and precision in fabricated parts.
  • Maximize machine efficiency to produce the necessary parts needed to meet production orders.
  • Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Operate a forklift or crane as assigned in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Report safety hazards or mechanical failures to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in fabrication, preferably with a focus on heavy equipment manufacturing.
  • Crane and forklift certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Math skills, including fractions, decimals, and angles.
