Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordinate discharge planning.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, addressing concerns and promoting healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in social work, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in social work, preferably in a pediatric setting.
  • State of Texas LMSW license required; LCSW license preferred.
