Summary:

As a Clinical Social Worker MSW-PRN, you will be responsible for implementing and administering policies, programs, and activities that promote the health and well-being of our patients and families.

You will perform psychosocial assessments to identify the needs of our patients and families, and develop plans to address those needs.

You will also coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform biopsychosocial screening and assessment of the families' ability to meet their children's healthcare needs.
  • Facilitate parent/child adjustment to illness and hospitalization.
  • Coordinate anticipatory discharge to ensure that patient's home-care is prearranged prior to leaving the hospital.
  • Coordinate and direct multidisciplinary patient care conferences focusing both on medical and biopsychosocial needs.
Education:
  • Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience MSW Req
Licenses and Certifications:
  • State of Texas LMSW license Req
  • State of Texas LCSW license Pref
