Cath Lab Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at AMN Healthcare Allied. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including disinfecting equipment and disposing of biohazardous waste
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs

Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT)
  • Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic life support certification
