Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer. As a Senior Red Team Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting offensive security assessments, including penetration testing and red teaming.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct adversarial emulation through research and development of real-world threat actors' tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and execute these techniques within the rules of engagement.
- Perform penetration testing and red teaming assessments using hacking tools, simulating various attack types such as social engineering, physical intrusions, and network-based attacks.
- Develop and execute test plans and rules of engagement for Red Team operations.
- Analyze security systems and recommend improvements to enhance security posture.
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other Red Team members and provide mentorship to junior analysts.
- Perform technical reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field - equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 7+ years of experience in offensive security, including penetration testing and red teaming.
- Certifications in offensive security, such as OSCP, OSCE, OSEE, OSWE, GPEN, GWAPT, or similar are preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity principles, and industry best practices.
- Working knowledge of program/project management software (Microsoft Project, Jira, Microsoft 365/Teams applications, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a technical team.
- $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
