Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to take precise notes throughout the day regarding information shared by clients, teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate clear communication among all parties involved.
Attention to detail is vital during site visits, as it is important to identify areas of concern and relay current information directly to the Project Manager.
Qualifications- Ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of solid experience in residential construction.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Efficient time management skills on job sites throughout the day.
- A natural sense of urgency.
- Experience in carpentry is advantageous but not required.
- Procure tools and materials for timely delivery to align with work schedules.
- Provide direct assistance at the job site as directed by the Project Manager to maximize field labor productivity.
- Ensure job sites are cleaned post-completion, documenting any touch-up work required to finalize the project.
- Manage the scheduling of work orders as they arise, including site visits with previous clients, assessing solutions, ordering parts, and scheduling timely follow-up work.
- Assist the Project Manager and office staff with the close-out process on warranty-related work orders.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs., walk and stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
The employee must possess excellent stamina and the capability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects while utilizing abdominal and lower back muscles to provide sustained support without fatigue.
Professionalism in customer service and a positive attitude are essential.
